UCSF Professional Liability (PL) Insurance Proof of Coverage:
PL coverage is provided through the UC Regents self-insurance program. It is provided to all UCSF employees when working within their course and scope of employment or training program with UCSF. We do not provide PL coverage for moonlighting or private practice work.

UCSF Certificate of Insurance (COI):
A COI is issued to UCSF healthcare providers who are working at non-UCSF facilities (ex., Stanford Medicine, Zuckerberg San Francisco General, UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland, John Muir Health, etc.). A provider will have coverage with the UCSF self insurance program as long as their work is within their course and scope of employment. We do not provide COIs for moonlighting or private practice work.
