  1. UCSF Patient Relations: Patient relations responds to patient and family concerns and grievances surrounding patient care.
  2. UCSF Case Management and Social Work: Social workers act as patient advocates by serving as counselors, helping to find resources and helping to solve problems. When it's medically necessary, Case Managers may help arrange alternate types of care when patients leave the hospital, such as identifying rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospice, or board and care homes.

  6. UCSF Health SecurityUCSF Health Security Services may be reached at (415) 885-7890. In conjunction with UCSF Police Department, the 24-hour on-site Security Services Department of UCSF Health is responsible for monitoring Medical Center services and activities.

  8. UCSF Health Office of Medical Affairs & Governance: Credentialing services for the UCSF Health System primarily comprising of UCSF faculty from the School of Medicine and the School of Dentistry and affiliated community partner groups in the clinically integrated physician network.
